Job Description

Our SERVICE & RENTAL COORDINATOR will work in the parts department and assist with all phone calls, emails and walk-ins. Their primary role will be to oversee and manage the service department and the rental fleet.

They will:

  • utilize company software for scheduling and invoicing,
  • assign projects to CHWS service technicians and truck drivers,
  • order and have ready necessary parts for each project,
  • communicate regularly with customers about project status and rental equipment,
  • load and unload service and rental equipment,
  • track technician efficiency rates and work with management to make changes where necessary,
  • maintain the rental fleet and make recommendations for new equipment based on customer demands,
  • and administrate all warranty claims.

Their secondary role will be to assist in the parts department. This includes ordering parts from distributers and filling parts orders. They will work closely with the Parts Sales Representative to quickly, efficiently and professionally help each customer who calls, emails or walks onto the property. Customer service is extremely important to our brand.

The SERVICE & RENTAL COORDINATOR will report to the Store Manager.

Hours

The position is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm and Saturdays 8 am to noon. One to two Saturdays off each month.

Applicant

We are considering experienced applicants only. Applicant needs to have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar industry. Someone who has previously worked as a service and/or rental coordinator, as a parts sales representative or service technician at a tractor or auto dealership who can demonstrate the ability to be highly organized and multi-task in a fast-paced environment would be ideal for this position. Applicant should be a self-starter, self-motivated, hardworking, attentive to details, a quick learner and pleasant to work with.  References should be provided who can vouch for both character and work ethic.

Must have:

  • No less than two years of experience
  • Product and mechanical knowledge of tractors and implements
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Phone and email etiquette
  • Friendly and professional attitude
